REAL SKILLS.
REAL EXPERIENCE.
REAL IMPACT.
The EA role is evolving quickly. Executives now rely on Assistants who can manage complex calendars, handle sensitive communication, run projects, understand workflows, and make confident decisions without constant supervision. This summit focuses on the real work of the modern EA.
Each session breaks down practical skills you can use the same day, the conversations to have with your Executive, the systems to refine, the habits that save time, and the actions that strengthen your partnership. Learn what actually works inside fast-moving organizations and proven tactics you can take back to your desk.
Don’t Drop the Ball: Methods to Manage Multiple Tasks, Handle Stress and Gain Control of Your Time
The days of limited duties and spare time in the day are long gone. Today’s administrative professionals typically not only have routine daily tasks, but also undertake special projects, managerial responsibilities, and teamwork challenges, not to mention the unexpected assignments that arise on an almost hourly basis. This session provides realistic techniques for separating myth from fact when it comes to multi-tasking, as well as ideas for setting priorities, boosting your ability to focus and reduce distractions and managing your time and stress so the unexpected doesn’t control you.
The Project Architect: Blueprinting Success in Google Workspace with Gemini
In this high-impact, real-talk session, Executive Assistant and Google Certified Educator Debra Coleman, will help you stop feeling buried by the “administrative weight” of new projects and start leading them with precision.
Follow along with Debra as she demonstrates how to transform messy email threads into professional, structured project plans in a matter of minutes, not hours.
Writing Effective Minutes
Minutes are one of the most underestimated tools in an EA’s arsenal, and one of the easiest to get wrong. Unclear, incomplete, or overly long minutes don’t just frustrate people; they stall decisions and let actions fall through the cracks.
In this practical session, Sharon Ferrier shows you how to take minutes with confidence and clarity. You’ll learn what to listen for during a meeting, how to capture what actually matters, and how to produce minutes that are concise, accurate, and easy to action. By the end, you’ll be able to write minutes that support better decisions, clearer communication, and real follow-through — every time.
Getting Started with Claude AI
This hands-on session introduces EAs to Claude as a practical day-to-day work tool. We’ll cover the basics of how it works and walk through real EA use cases from drafting correspondence, summarising long email threads, preparing briefing notes, to tackling the small admin jobs that take up your week.
You’ll leave with a handful of go-to prompts you can use immediately, a clearer sense of where Claude saves real time, and practical guidance on handling confidentiality and fact-checking when using AI in a trusted support role.
The EA Industry Update. Hiring, Skills, and the Changing Role of the Assistant
The Executive Assistant role is evolving as organisations rethink how leaders work and how support shows up in a more digital workplace. This session is taken from The EA Campus Conference, our live event in London and online.
In this panel discussion, recruitment specialists and industry voices share what they are seeing across the EA market. From hiring expectations to the skills organisations are prioritising, this session gives a clear view of how the role is changing.
Facilitated by Nicky Christmas, the conversation looks at the impact of technology, shifting structures, and the move towards more strategic support.
The Biggest Opportunities in AI for Executive Assistants
This session explores the biggest opportunities for EAs to use AI as a tool for transformative organizational leverage. AI continues shifting value away from routine cognitive output and toward the scarce functions that remain difficult to automate. Rather than treating AI as a set of tools to “use,” we’ll explore a structured opportunity map that shows the five high-impact domains where EAs can drive real outcomes.
Stop the Back-and-Forth: Why Calendar Scheduling Is No Longer Optional
As hire number one at Capacity (an AI software company), Jeremy Burrows has been working in the AI space long before LLMs, chatGPT, and other AI Agents existed. In this session, he’ll talk about why scheduling automation is no longer optional for assistants. He’ll walk through his company’s scheduling automation tool which transforms manual back-and-forth scheduling into a streamlined, automated system – protecting you and your executive’s time while making meeting booking easier than ever.
Join us for four hours that will transform your career.
The work is moving faster each year. The Assistants who stand out are those who invest in their skills. AI can draft messages and speed up workflows, but the ability to partner with an Executive, influence decisions, manage operations, and build trust remains firmly human.
This Summit brings together respected voices from across the profession to explore the future of the EA role, what will be expected next, and how to prepare for it. You’ll walk away with practical tools, stronger confidence in your approach, and a clearer sense of where your work adds the most value.
